Clearwater Marine Aquarium has begun work on construction to expand its facilities. The project includes:
• A newly refurbished, 145,000-gallon dolphin pool
• A new, USDA-certified quarantine and stranding area to support CMA’s mission of rescuing stranded and/or injured marine animals
• An additional 4 sea turtle tubs and two fish quarantine tanks
• Roof access for guests to see otters on the roof undergoing rehabilitation• A new stranding pool for animals
• A new, refinished parking lot
